Fundraising.

We know that it can be a daunting task to fundraise for a Street Invaders mission whether regional, national, or international. Below are some ideas that have worked for our students in the past. One of the best ways to do it is make a clear presentation or letter about where you are going and your heart for attending the program to hand out to friends, family, or members of your church. However there are lots of other ways to fundraise:

  • “Sponsor-A-Youth” - Sponsor-A-Youth works best in a church context. Students are sponsored financially, and patrons receive a picture and bio about the student. After their mission, students will send a report to those who sponsored them.

  • Village Artisan Sales - Contact the office to sell Village Artisan products and get part of the profit (may only be available certain years.

  • Bake Sale

  • 50/50 Draw

  • Yard Sale

  • Bottle Drive

  • Shovelling walks/raking leaves

  • Puzzle Piece Sales ($$ per puzzle piece – trying to complete the puzzle)

  • Start a Go-Fund-MeTM

  • Host a car wash

  • Sell art or other small things you can create or make

  • Write fundraising letters (we can provide you with Street Invaders letterhead)

  • Ask what jobs you can do for people in your church

  • Dog walking

  • Host a movie night

  • “Give it Up” challenge

  • Ask if you can run an event or a fundraising booth at your school

  • Host a talent night/sports event/etc.

  • Create a fun basket and have people enter into a draw for it! You can ask local businesses if they would donate to your basket (i.e. coffee shops, local clothing stores, bakeries, etc.)

  • Talk to your church about how you can help out or what you can do to fundraise there!
